Former Skeptic (formerskeptic.org) is run by Matthew Leeb. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Email signups. When you ask for the free guide, we keep your email address, your first name if you give it, and which link brought you here.
• "I said yes" and "former skeptic" buttons. We count each click once. Your name, email and note are optional. Only the total number is ever shown publicly.
• Basic site data. Our host (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data like IP addresses to run and protect the site. We use that only to keep counts honest and stop spam.

How we use it

• To send you the guide and emails from Matthew about faith, study, and new resources.
• To show real totals in the impact section.

We never sell or rent your information. We may use trusted services (for example, an email provider) to send emails on our behalf.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link. To see, change, or delete what we hold about you, email hello@formerskeptic.org and we'll take care of it.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
